April Showers, Spring Flowers

Norma and I are kindred spirits when it comes to many things - one of them is certainly flowers. We each love to play with both real and faux flowers. I’m a firm believer that there is probably not any living space that cannot be improved by the addition of greenery or florals.

We often marvel at HOW FAR that faux florals have come in the last few years…so many of them look so realistic that customers often mistake them for fresh flowers! I adore this spring arrangement that Norma created above.

In addition, the latest ones that Norma consistently orders for the shop are “real touch” florals - so they even FEEL real. We have sold many, many “real touch” tulips especially over the last couple of years. We are close to being out right now, but we’ll be getting more in soon…

I am also thoroughly smitten with these David Austin roses! GORGEOUS! They look incredibly real and they will last so much longer than a fresh bouquet. ;)

We also create custom arrangements here at the shop. Both Norma and I can do that for you. We’ve had several customers bring a special vase or container that they want updated with faux flowers and we’ve been glad to assist. Here’s one that Norma created several months ago to freshen up a family heirloom pitcher. I love that it looks like she picked a bouquet of wildflowers straight from the field!

Here is one that I recently created for a customer to fill a special crystal vase she received flowers in when her daughter was born. She sent me pictures of the room it would be going in and dropped off the vase. A week later she was thrilled to pick up her new arrangement and add the finishing touch to her guest room.

I created this one to go along with a gift basket that a group of ladies was buying for a friend…

We have some individual florals to choose from, too, so if you want to create your own arrangements, we have beautiful options. (More than pictured here!)

Norma also regularly creates large and small arrangements to display at the shop if you want to purchase a ready-made bouquet.

I can’t leave out the beautiful faux succulent arrangements that my friend Christy creates for us using Harney & Son tea tins! (We have also started carrying Harney & Sons teas, my personal favorite tea brand.)
